WHA Resolution on Skin Diseases: From Global Commitment to Practical Action - joining forces to #BreakTheInvisibleBurden of Atopic Eczema in Europe

The European Federation of Allergy and Airways Diseases Patients’ Associations (EFA) is pleased to invite you to “WHA Resolution on Skin Diseases: From Global Commitment to Practical Action - joining forces to #BreakTheInvisibleBurden of Atopic Eczema in Europe”, taking place on 2 October 2026 at The Stage in Vienna.

The event will mark an important moment for the Atopic Eczema #BreakTheInvisibleBurden campaign, co-created by EFA and the EFA Community to raise awareness of the wider burden of atopic eczema and strengthen advocacy for better prevention, care and quality of life.

Building on the campaign’s achievements so far, the session will look ahead to the next steps for awareness, advocacy and policy action on atopic eczema in Europe. The discussion will focus on how patients, healthcare professionals and policymakers can work together to turn the World Health Assembly Resolution on skin diseases into practical action, especially in the context of the upcoming Global Action Plan on skin diseases.
